Fairlanes/Stinking Polecats split CD (Wynona Records) Awesome split CD with the Stinking Polecats from Italy. Our songs include 2 outtakes from Welcome to Nowhere (that we did not have lyrics to, so we finished singing on them later.... in my opinion they are as strong as some songs on WTN) and 3 other newly recorded songs. We re-recorded Friday Night and goodbye from Songs for Cruising to make them brighter and tighter and did a cover of 2 Miles from Nowhere (an old My Pal Trigger song) Toursong, from WTN is on here as well. The Polecats side is some awesome rock and roll that you dont want to miss. |

| Latrines/Fairlanes split 7" (Floppy Cow Records) RELEASE DATE - 6/01! Swiss 7" Featuring two other songs from the Welcome to Nowhere recording sessions. One of them we went back and forth whether or not to have it on the album. Both songs came out really cool. The Latrines from Switzerland have two songs on here as well. | ![]() |

Welcome
to Nowhere full length CD (Suburban Home Records) This is
our newest album. Recorded at 8 houses for 2.5 long weeks. It sounds
awesome and if you are thinking of purchasing anything by the Fairlanes,
get this first. This record was what we decided to become a full-time
touring band with. It is very autobiographical with what was happening
with our lives at the time (and still is, actually) with figuring out
what is really important in life to us and what is not. We put alot
of time and energy into these songs and tried to concentrate alot more
on the music, with a wide variety of different guitars, amps, tones,
some keyboards, as well as alot of time on the lyrics. We like it, and
hope you do to! 12 Songs.

Bite
Your Tongue
CDEP
(Suburban Home). This was the first recording we did after Jason moved
to Texas (And before he moved to California) The songs came out awesome.
It is our best production to date including best artwork, recording
quality, song quality, etc. There are 6 Fairlanes tunes and two covers.
The covers are a rippin White Lion tune and the re-recording of Materiel
Girl featuring backup robot vocals from Jason and Scott's Girlfriends.

Touch
My Body Split 7"
with
Digger (Suburban Home Records) I feel that this is a pretty strong split
from both bands. Regardless of what you hear, this artwork is incredible.
These are not necessarily our best songs. Say Goodnight was on our live
set for a long time and Venus was just a goofy song about how Jason
likes to wear women's' underwear on his head. Its quite disturbing.
This was the first time that we recorded at 8 houses down and it made
us wish that we had been all along. This version of Say Goodnight sounds
a hell of allot better than the version previously recorded. These were
the only two songs we recorded at this session.

Songs
For Cruising
Full
Length CD (Suburban Home Records) This is our first record. I feel that
it has some of our best songs on it. We redid Hermit girl and Girl Let
Me Go from Hi.... and DPD from the Big Fix Comp to make them tighter
and a bit faster and I like how they came out. This was recorded at
two different sessions at 8 houses down and it sounds great. Some live
standards that are on this record are Catch 22, Friday Night, Stupid,
Goodbye and DPD. Jason even sings a bit of German in Vomit (We were
looking to get big overseas).

Hi..
We're the Fairlanes
7" (Suburban Home Records) This was the first fairlanes release and
the second SH release. It is a little different than some of our newer
stuff because of some cheesy lyrics and poppier sound. It is a solid
7" though. This featured Tim, the fairlanes original drummer. It is
out of print.

Wait
for Her Return (First Pressing)/Middle of it all (unmixed)(Second Pressing)
on No-Fi trash (Floppy Cow
Records) This is featuring some great bands including Lagwagon, The
Gamits, Co-Ed, and the Promise Ring. Probably the coolest thing about
this comp is it is a Swiss Comp. The coolest thing ever however, is
that Scott met Michael (the guy doing the comp) in Nice, France totally
randomly when the guy handed him a flyer advertising this comp and Scott
saw that his band was on it and ran after him. Weird shit. The second
pressing has a different mix of middle of it all. Some other bands have
different songs on the second pressing as well.

Never Looking Back on Ox Fanzine Compilation #42 (Ox Fanzine) Here is one of those CDs that comes free when you buys a magazine. This time, it is From Germany so, unless you live in Germany, good luck finding it! Other bands include: Bad Astronaut, De Rita Sisters, Einmal Ein Gott Sein, Pink Holes, Hunter-Gatherer, Family Five and more. 31 Songs. |

Burn It Down on Ritalin Riot 2 comp (Attention Defecit Disorder) Great comp from Florida also featuring: At the Drive In, Hot Water Music, Less Than Jake, Leatherface, Against All Authority, Cadillac Blindside, The Fairlanes, The Thumbs, The Gamits, the Movie Life, Cooter, Small Brown Bike, the Impossibles, Pinhead Circus, and a whole lot more. 30 songs | ![]() |
| Never Looking Back on It's All About the Punk Baby (Orange Peal Records) I guess this comp was to be given out at the SXSW festival. Has some pretty good bands on here. I have no idea if it is still in print. | ![]() |

Potential Getaway Drivere - Fire, Ice and Lukewarm Water full length CD (Pop Riot Records) So, this is really not a Fairlanes release, but Scott is the singer and guitar player. This album features Chris and Matt from the Gamits, Mike from Basses Loaded and Terrance from TRW and 2112 - a tribute to Rush. What happened is basically Chris and Mike really liked the PGD songs on the VERY limited release that Scott did where he recorded everything by himself and talked him into making PGD a band. Alot of the songs are re-recorded and sound ALOT better, and there are some new ones as well including a live version of Photograph (Def Leppard). | |
| This Amp Goes to 11 on Plea for Peace (Asian Man Records) This is one of our newest songs and sounds pretty rad. The song was re-recorded for Welcome to Nowhere. | ![]() |

Alone
Tonite on Playing Four Square (Suburban
Home Records, My Records, Negative Progression Records, Drive Thru Records)
Great, cheap sampler for 4 cool punk labels. Our tune is the same as
the version on Bite Your Tongue. Other bands to take note of: Gamits,
Lagwagon, Nerf Herder (Awesome unreleased song!) Armchair Martian, Adventures
of Jet and alot more!!!!

Last
Sunrise on What did you expect for free?
compilation (Skratch 'Zine Compilation) Uhhhhhh.... This is the same
version as on bite your tongue giving free samples of alot of bands
out there. I don't know much else about this.

Sunrise on Evolve video. This is
another extreme mountain bike video made by the same people as before
and looks better than the other one. Some other bands featured are D4,
Gamits and Fifteen.

Potential
Getaway Driver
CD
(To The Left Records). This is not really a fairlanes album, but it
is Scott, the drum player's "solo" album. It was recorded in 1998 at
8 houses in Denver. It has been described as a cross between Samiam,
Weasel and Jawbreaker. It was recorded at 8 houses and sounds really
good. PGD is now an actual band featuring two members of the Gamits,
a bass player named Mike and a key player named Terrance Rankin Watkins.
Most of the tunes were re-recorded along with new ones and a full length
will be released sometime in 2000 on Pop Riot Records. This release
is out of print.

Catch

video. This is a Bike Trials video of dudes doing some pretty crazy
shit. The Gamits and the Homeless Wonders are also on it.

Between
Planets on The New Frontier (Soda
Jerk Records) This is a really cool comp. It features all Colorado Punk
Bands. The art is great as well as many of the songs. Between Planets
was taken from the Songs for Cruising Sessions but not used because
we did not want to use two cover songs. It was written by the Jesus
and Mary Chain and is a rad song. Other bands on here are All, Armchair
Martian, Pinhead Circus, Nobodys, Gamits and almost any other good or
bad band from Colorado that you can think of.

Vomit
on Bakamono CD Sampler #1 (Bakamono)
This is a cool idea for a comp. It was given away free at the store
Bakamono in Denver with every purchase. Other bands on it include Dillinger
4, The Gamits, JCCC, At The Drive In, Facet and more. You could not
beat the price. I believe you can still get a copy from some places,
but I'm not gonna tell you where.

Catch
22 on Mullet Core (Drive-Through
Records) This is a great comp. The art is incredible. Buy it soon. That's
all I have to say. There is an unreleased Nerf herder tune, and an incredible
song by size 14.

Hermit
Girl on Put My Clothes Back On!
(Dead Sox Records) Ok Hermit girl again. Same recording as Hi....Only
thing special about this one is that this comp was only released in
Australia. So if you are reading this in Australia, you should get it
because it is a strong comp and has some cool bands on there. The artwork,
however, is awful.

Not
Good Enough on The Great Soap Opera
(Wormhole/Atomic Records) This is, in my opinion, the worst song
we ever recorded. When we got back from tour, Virgil told us that the
Wormhole compilation was coming out soon. We all forgot that we said
we wanted to put this song out. In fact some of us even deny it to this
day..... hmmmmm.... Anyway, it was recorded at the dreadful Time Capsule
sessions in Denver and sounds like shit.

DPD
on The Big Fix Compilation (Allied
Records) This is a different version of this song than the one featured
on songs for cruising. It was recorded at Time Capsule. (where we did
our first 7") I don't like the production very much. As far as the rest
of the record goes, the artwork is fucking awesome and there are some
great songs included on it as well. The songs we recorded at this session
(and paid way too much for, by the way) were DPD, Not Good Enough, Materiel
Girl (Unreleased), Say Goodnight (Unreleased) and Just One Measure (Unreleased).

Hermit
Girl on Punk... It's all About the Orchis Factor
(Suburban Home Records) This was the same recording as on Hi.....
I consider this to be a strong comp. It is the first CD released by
Suburban Home Records and features many bands we are friends with. Other
notable bands featured on this recording are scarred by love by the
Nobodys with Justin Singing instead of Joe Queer, Blink-182 with a song
only released on an Australian single, and well... shit there is allot
of good stuff on here.

Really
Wanna See You on Punk Strikes Back
(Backspin Records) This is another one of those really cheesy, poppy
catchy early fairlanes tunes. The recording and playing is bad but for
some reason I like the garage, shitty production. It was recorded in
the fairlanes house and was played on the radio on a long gone Colorado
punk show. The song was also re-recorded with Scott on drums but never
released.
