1994 First band Rehearsals in Jeff's Garage. Band was actually not officially the fairlanes but it was the first practices with Jason and Jeff together. No official fairlanes songs came out of this. 1995 The band actually became the fairlanes. Started playing local shows. Jason and Jeff moved to Boulder to go to College. Robbie Kalinowski became the new guitar wizard. Jeff suckered his little brother Tim into playing drums. Jeff also decided that he wanted to play bass. Some regular fairlanes songs came out of this time. 1996 The band started to play a lot of local shows and started to promote itself more. They also started Suburban Home Records and Zine with Virgil Dickerson. After the summer tour, Tim quit and Alex joined up to play drums. He never recorded anything with the Fairlanes and only played for about 3 months with them. 1997 The band continued to play more shows locally. Scott took over on drums right away at the beginning of the year. 1998 The Fairlanes recorded their first Full Length this year. Rob, Jason and Jeff all Graduated College. Mike Little of Potential Getaway Driver filled in on bass for a few shows that Jeff could not make it to. Jason also moved to Houston. Scott also recorded the solo Potential Getaway Driver stuff. 2000 Worked ALOT on the next full length CD. Made plans to make the Fairlanes a full time band. Jason Moved to Los Angeles. Jeff quit the band. Andy Joined (And thus begins the Cherry Curl).
